Intro :
Strength, the most important one is Spirital
strength.
Christian strength is of the spirit, measured in faithfulness,
trust, and perseverance.
Our "true" struggle is against powers and principalities.
Many things to fight in this physical world,
sickness, fatigue, death of loved ones.
We fight in the physical world. But we also fight in the
spiritual world.
Satan opposes us. It's he who seeks to destroy our body, mind,
and soul.
Guaranteed deliverance
is the blood of Christ.
Jesus bought us with His blood and ensured that none of those "so
bought" would be lost.

Spiritual Battle.
a. These battles take many forms.
1. Forces ready to weaken you, to cause you to
fall, then to trample you under their feet.
2. Sexual temptation, serious illness, loss of
a loved one, hatred of others,
coveting, addictions:
alcohol, drug, pornography, even simple pride...
2. Spiritualy
strong,
Relying on Him, not in ourselfs.

Ephesians 6:10-20
1. having girded your waist with Truth, Eph. 6:14
Truth is that revelation of God, found in
Christ, as known in the scriptures.
2. having put on the breastplate of Righteousness, Eph.

Righteousness is given by God, through His
Son Jesus.
3. having shod your feet with the preparation
of the Gospel of Peace, Eph.
6:15
The gospel is the power of God for
salvation to all who believe.
The message of
the death, burial, and resurrection Jesus.
4. above all, taking the shield of Faith, Eph.

Faith, the assurance of things hoped for,
the conviction of things not seen.
A bond between
you and God that pleases Him.
5. Take the helmet of Salvation, Eph.

Greatest of all gifts.

of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Eph.

The Word is that which teaches, guides,
and admonishes you.
3. Spiritual Battle is already won. We just have to claim it !
a. Pray at all times in the Spirit.
Does
not mean every second. It does mean in all things.
b. with all perseverance.
Means
continue in prayer even though you do not seem to get an answer.
c. for all the saints.
Brothers and sisters in Christ, Those who serve His church, Your
pastor, Those who further the gospel.
d. so you may remain strong.
