Pastor Phil Aguilar was born again at Chino State Prison in 1976,
and upon release entered Baptist Bible College and then International Bible Institute and Seminary.
He founded the first Set Free Church in 1982 in Orange County California.
Since then, Set Free Church's have been planted World Wide.
Pastor Phil and the Set Free Crew also pioneered the Los Angeles Dream Center,
He has worked as an inner City Church consultant.
Set Free has had the privilege of having a T. V. and Radio programs,
Set Free run's Detox Programs and have recently acquired the San Diego Chargers Training Center,
for the purpose of helping thousands to become Drug Free and find Jesus!
Set Free and Pastor Phil in particular have gone through their dark valleys and have cried many tears.
